Yehudit Steinberg is the Founder and Director of JIWN (Jewish Interfaith Wedding Network) in 2003, a resource for Jewish Interfaith couples, families, affiliate organizations and wedding event professionals. She is also the Producer/Host at Think Grow Love Media, a digital production studio located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, originally in San Francisco since 2015, where she offers courses, workshops and live video training to rural and urban communities .
Yehudit has designed and produced over 500 globally inspired weddings with an emphasis on blending Jewish faith and traditions with other religions without offending or excluding anyone who participates, making them feel comfortable, while exceeding all expectations with the end result.
She partners with couples, their families and wedding professionals to ensure that the ceremony and traditions integrate with the entire event. Her careful collaborative design ensures that everyone is heard and their vision comes to life.
In addition, she creates personalized rituals to fit the lifestyles of the married couple to continue their families traditions using a practical approach to their daily spiritual needs and beliefs.
As a result, she also trains new officiants and wedding professionals how to collaborate with their couples on how to create an authentic wedding celebrations that involves two or more cultural and spiritual traditions to add value to the entire experience of the couple’s wedding.
Starting in late Fall 2019, she is opening JIWN online archive resource center where engaged couples, interfaith families, officiants can get valuable information to plan weddings, ceremonies and holidays.

For the past twenty years, Rabbi Gershon has been performing Jewish, Interfaith, and non-denominational lifecycle ceremonies including weddings, bar mitzvahs, baby namings, funerals and renewal of vows for Jewish and Interfaith families. Because of his commitment to work with Interfaith couples, he understands the needs of not only the couple’s desire to honor both traditions, but is able to help with the concerns that arise from family members and guests. Rabbi Gershon is experienced and willing to perform co-officiated services with clergy from different traditions, as well as, marry non-Jewish couples. Knowledgeable and studied in many traditions of Judaism; Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Mizrachi.
From the ancient traditions of handing down knowledge through private rabbinic mentors and receiving smichah ordination, Rabbi Gershon understands and embraces all branches of Jewish traditions as equal and authentic, a concept known as flexidoxy developed by Rabbi Gershon Winkler, an orthodox rabbi.
Rabbi Gershon began his studies in the mid 1960’s in Seattle Washington with teachers in Sephardic tradition Rabbi Soloman Maimen at Yeshivat Bikor Cholim Sepharad and Rabbi Jack Greenberg at Congregation Ezra Bessaroth. Continuing his Ashkenazi studies of Conservative and Reform Judaism through the 70’s and in the mid 1980’s became lay rabbi of Community Ahavat Israel in Boise Idaho, a position he held until his move to Berkeley in 1995 to attend Yeshivat Chochmat Halev. Studying with Rabbi David Wolfe-Blank z”tl, Rabbi Avram Davis, and Rabbi Gershon Winkler. In 1998 received Orthodox smikah[ordination] from Rabbi Gershon Winkler with a specialty in performing life-cycle ceremonies.
